Collection: Under Her Shade

‘Under Her Shade’ is inspired by Bonbibi, the goddess and guardian spirit of the Sundarbans, the world’s largest mangrove forest. Her role is spiritual, ecological, and social - reflecting Numa’s values.

Shaped by over ten artisans ranging from weavers, dyers to embroiderers, this collection quietly honors the forests, rivers, and creatures that guide their craft. It embraces handspun Khadi cotton from Bengal, Mulberry Silk from Bihar, natural dyes coaxed from flowers and plants, and the intricacy of Bandhej, Shibori, Ikat, Chikankari, and Banjara crafts.
