This sleeveless Kala cotton tie-up top is adorned with delicate Aari embroidery featuring motifs inspired by India’s Sundarbans mangrove forest, and finished with our signature beaded tassels. It can be styled your own way or paired with the matching pants for a coordinated look.
This garment was woven by hand using Kala cotton and hand-embroidered by female artisans. Kala cotton is one of the oldest types of cotton in the world and is special because it grows naturally with just rainwater, without the need for irrigation or chemicals, making it 100% organic and earth-friendly. Slight irregularities in the weave or color are a natural part of this process, evidence of the hands and land that shaped it.
